Every year, EIPHC hosts C-U in the Prairibbean (CUiP). CUiP is an evening of music and fun, with multiple local bands performing throughout the night and plenty of food and beverage vendors (yes, we mean beer!). There is also a silent auction where people can bid on baskets with a wide variety of items. It's held every year in downtown Champaign and has grown over the years, with the most recent years having over 800 attendees!
CUiP is an annual fundraiser that benefits Developmental Services Center, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live the most independent life possible, while becoming a part of their community.
Due to COVID-19, the Crew (Board of Directors) of EIPHC made the very difficult decision to cancel our annual fundraiser which was scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2020. Stay safe, and we'll see you in 2021!
Last year's event was held on August 3, 2019 in downtown Champaign. Thank you to all of the volunteers; those who attended the event; the sponsors; those that purchased raffle tickets; the generous individuals and businesses that donated items for our large silent auction; and to all the individuals who worked so hard to make this event another success!
We had a beautiful summer evening and listened to great music featuring Champaign's trop rock band, The Boat Drunks; The Tons O'Fun Band; and Jake & Jackson Tatar! Attendees enjoyed tropical drinks, various beers, and delicious food. The huge silent auction was a tremendous success!
Once again, thank you to our wonderful sponsors (click here to view). Your support was appreciated greatly!
